Members of the DDHS football team will be supporting the S.M.I.L.E.S. therapeutic riding stables annual fundraiser Saturday by sitting in the dunk tank.
Just $1 will give participants three chances to dunk a Comet and raise money for a good cause.
The fundraiser starts at 11 a.m. The Comets will start in the dunk tank around 2 p.m.
S.M.I.L.E.S. will have multiple events going on throughout the day, including riding demonstrations, the Kettle Moraine Rough Riders Drill Team, a dog agility seminar, silent auction, a farmer’s market, 50/50 raffle, the Walworth County Cloggers, dancers from The Dance Factory in Delavan, a small car show and a raffle drawing for a guitar signed by country music artist Cowboy Troy. Oh, and Cowboy Troy will be there too to give a special concert with the Penny Mae Dixon Band at 7 p.m.!
Kids games run from noon until 4 p.m.
A donation of $5 gets you in. Children under 12 are free.
S.M.I.L.E.S. stable is located on County K south of Darien and Delavan.
