Darien Elementary School fourth grader Grace Kirkpatrick went above and beyond for her social studies section.
She constructed a relief map of the United States entirely out of modeling clay for an extra credit project. Kirkpatrick used different colored clay to represent the different geological areas of the country, including the Great Plains, grasslands, mountains, valleys and deserts.
We thought it was pretty cool, so we wanted to show it to you as a Student Showcase.
Kirkpatrick is a student in Erin Rae’s class.
Great job, Grace!
