Mary’s Room founder Peggy Nieuwenhuis, left, accepts a $120 check donation from Delavan photographer Kasey Karstetter, center, while Delavan-Darien High School Photo Club Advisor Mike Heine looks on. Karstetter, owner of Kasey K. Photography, held a photo booth fundraiser during student basketball games held at Delavan-Darien High School in early February, taking pictures “photo booth style” of fans, complete with fun costumes and silly props. The fundraiser generated about $200, which was split between Mary’s Room and the DDHS Photo Club. Mary’s Room, which provides supplies for expectant mothers and young families, will use the funds to buy car seats. The DDHS Photo Club, which supplies photos for the school’s yearbook, will use it’s share of the funds for student photography equipment.
