Darien Elementary School students are proud of their mascot — the Eagles.
They were excited last week when they saw a real life bald eagle outside of the building.
Perched in a tree across from the school along South Walworth Street was a majestic bald eagle, which many of the kids got to see. It was a rare sight in these parts, but seeing our majestic Darien Eagles (the students) is pretty common. And we’re glad they attend Darien Elementary School.
