Are you a fan of fine art?
If so, you’re in luck. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to see art nearby, and that doesn’t mean hopping on a train to downtown Chicago or paying for parking at the ramp outside the Milwaukee Art Museum.
An art show is coming to two locations in our area next week.
The Delavan-Darien School District’s elementary art teachers are having a Youth Month Art Show at Aram Public Library in Delavan from 5:30 until 7 p.m. Thursday evening, March 1. The show will also be that same evening at the Darien Village Library from 6:15 until 6:45 p.m.
Parents have been invited with their child to come see the show that night. For those of you who can’t make it, the artwork will be up on display at the libraries for the month.
If you’re heading to either library for a good book, make sure to check out the imaginative work of our talented student artists.
