ATTENTION DDHS ATHLETES:
There will be a mandatory meeting for all fall student-athletes on Monday, July 30 at 7 p.m. in the large group room (study hall). At least one parent must attend, as well.
This meeting may be split into two times based upon numbers. Please watch for further communication from the district.
There will be a coach representative for each fall sport available to answer questions. A number of our fall sports begin Monday, Aug. 6, with the remainder beginning Monday, Aug 13.
We will review the “ticket to play,” which is new this fall and necessary before a student-athlete can practice. The “ticket to play” is a check list of required forms and other necessities including a signature from the Athletic Director’s office to notify the coach that the student-athlete is ready to participate.
Very important this year is information on concussions that will be presented.
The required forms are available at school prior to this date for families to complete ahead of time. Stop in between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. weekdays to pick them up. (NOTE: DDHS offices are closed July 2-6).
