On Tuesday, May 1, Delavan-Darien High School and Kunes Country Auto Group in Delavan teamed up for a “Drive One 4 UR School” event, which raised $1,380 for DDHS athletics.

Ford Motor Company made cash donations to the school for each test drive that was done during the event.

Kunes officials brought new Ford vehicles to the DDHS parking lot and had dozens of drivers come in throughout the day who helped the cause.

Recently, Gregg Kunes, owner of Kunes Country Auto Group presented the check to DDHS Athletics Director Kevin Parker.

About the event

Ford is driving fun forward, proud to be part of test-drive fundraising events to help raise money for local schools’ sports and extracurricular activities.
Mission
To expose as many individuals as possible to Ford and Lincoln vehicles while promoting goodwill within the community.
Company Overview
The Drive One 4 UR School program was developed as a fun, engaging way to help high schools raise money to support their sports programs and extracurricular activities. Ford and Ford Lincoln dealerships partner with a local high school to conduct a test-drive fundraising event. For every valid test-drive completed, Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to the participating high school, up to $6,000! So, the more people who test-drive a Ford or Lincoln vehicle at the event, the more money can be raised!
