DELAVAN— The Delavan-Darien Friends of the Visual and Performing Arts community group is holding its annual Holiday Craft Fair at the Delavan-Darien High School from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8.
More than 100 booths will display a wide array of craft items, including jewelry, hand-made crafts, floral arrangements, candles, artwork, dolls, holiday decorations and more. Crafters attending the event come from throughout Wisconsin and Illinois, organizers say. Food and free parking will be available.
Admission is $2 per person. The event will be held in the high school gymnasium and commons area, 150 Cummings St., Delavan.
The Holiday Craft Fair is the major annual fundraiser for the Delavan-Darien Friends of the Visual and Performing arts, a non-profit group that supports art, music and theater activities in the Delavan-Darien area. Each year, the group sponsors a Jazz in the Park concert at Delavan’s Phoenix Park Band Shell, fulfills teacher “wish lists” for classroom items, donates scholarships to graduating high school seniors and supports classroom learning with guest speakers, artists and musicians.
