Running back Fowlkes leaps onto ESPN

We knew Comet football running back Justin Fowlkes is a highlight reel on two feet. Now we can show you that Fowlkes is indeed a highlight reel, although ironically by leaving his two feet.

Fowlkes literally hurdled a would-be tackler in last Friday’s (Sept. 10) game at Lake Geneva Badger. The play was caught on camera, uploaded to YouTube and featured on ESPN’s SportsCenter Thursday (Sept. 17). We’ve found the clip on ESPN’s YouTube channel and share it here with you here.

What the SportCenter anchor didn’t tell you is this was one of Fowlkes’ shorter runs of the night. He racked up 207 yards in just 16 carries in the game and scored five touchdowns.

See what other highlights Fowlkes has up his sleeve in tonight’s home game vs. Union Grove. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. at Borg Memorial Stadium.
