The second ever La Union: Latino Night at Delavan-Darien High School was a success (held Jan. 15).
More than 100 children and families attended the event, put on by the high school’s Latino Literature Class.
Attendees enjoyed Cumbia dancing lessons, taking swings at a piñata filled with candy, learning how to make their own piñatas and play Latin American games, listening to Latin American music, and tasting a variety of Latin American food. There were also 15 flavors of homemade salsa to try out. Yum!
