‘Scoopie Night’ at Culver’s to benefit Phoenix trip to D.C.

Culver's ScoopieDELAVAN — Coming soon, patrons at Culver’s in Delavan can buy frozen treats to raise funds for the Delavan-Darien School District.

Phoenix Middle School eighth graders are hosting a “Scoopie Night” at Culver’s from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 19.

Many Phoenix Middle School staff and students will take up temporary work shifts at the restaurant to serve food and ice cream treats to customers. The eighth grade class will receive 10 percent of Culver’s sales proceeds that night during the hours staffed by students and school employees.

The funds raised will go toward an eighth grade trip to Washington D.C. this summer.

Residents in the Delavan-Darien School District boundaries are encouraged to attend and support local public schools. Don’t forget to tell your family and friends!

REMINDER: The Phoenix Middle School Rummage Sale is coming up this Saturday, Feb. 9, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Find out sale details here. All proceeds from the sale will support the Washington D.C. Trip.
