DDHS String Choir to play at Milwaukee-area Barnes & Noble

DELAVAN — Delavan-Darien High School members of the String Choir will be among dozens of other high school musical groups playing at Barnes & Noble bookstores throughout Wisconsin as part of Music In Our Schools Month.

The DDHS String Choir will play at the Greenfield store (4935 S. 76th St., Greenfield) from 6 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 14.

Members of the DDHS String Choir include: seniors Kylie Bliss, Nic Bradley and Rachel Riggs; juniors Alina Moreno and Haylie Rogers; and sophomores Vanessa Hernandez and Aaron Wojciechowski. The String Choir is directed by Jennifer Bayerl.

A percentage of statewide Barnes & Noble sales during the week will go to support the Wisconsin School Music Association programs. Use the bookfair ID number 10791242 at checkout, either in-store from March 14-20, or online from March 14-18.

High school musicians from dozens of schools from across the state will be playing at Barnes & Noble stores from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. that Thursday,  March 14 . There are Barnes & Noble locations in Madison, La Crosse, Racine, Appleton, Wausau, Green Bay and throughout the metro Milwaukee area.
