ATTENTION DDHS ATHLETES AND PARENTS:
Monday, November 4: Please Note the two time frames. There will be a mandatory meeting for all winter sports athletes and parents from 6-7 p.m. The Parent and Athlete meeting in the Auditorium from 6:00-6:30 is required ONLY if you didn’t participate in a fall sport. This meeting will discuss new state and WIAA regulations and the “Ticket to Play” policies, and various other information topics. Athletics Director Craig Lodahl will also introduce all head coaches at that time to the parents. Athletes and their parents that are out for a winter sport and have participated this fall should plan to attend for the second part of the evening from 6:30-7 p.m. This will be a breakout session time for each individual sport. Room assignments will be posted in the commons. At these breakout sessions coaches will hand out all the other paper work required (i.e. Concussion forms, WIAA eligibility, cautionary statements, practice schedules, etc..) and discuss season expectations and team rules.
