DELAVAN — The all-student registration day for the Delavan-Darien School District is set for 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, at Delavan-Darien High School (150 Cummings St., Delavan).
All parents and guardians of continuing and new students are required to attend this registration event to prepare for the upcoming 2014-15 school year. Students must be enrolled in the district before they can be registered.
New students and students who are returning to the district after a previous withdrawal can enroll their children at the registration event. However, the district encourages parents and students to complete the enrollment process prior to Aug. 5, if possible. To do so, call the school the student will attend, 262-728-2642.
On registration day, parents and students can learn about the new Infinite Campus student information system the district is now using. The new system replaces the district’s previous student database software, PowerSchool. Parents and students can use Infinite Campus to keep in contact with teachers, check on student academic progress and attendance, review schedules and much more.
Also at registration, middle school and high school students will have photos taken for their identification cards, and school fees can also be paid.
Students who are enrolling in the district should have the following documents available:
- Child’s original birth certificate or passport
- Proof of residency (current utility bill, lease agreement, mortgage bill, etc.)
- Parent/guardian photo ID
- Immunization records
- Proof of guardianship/parentage (child’s birth certificate with parent name, legal papers, etc.)
- High school transcript (if applicable)
