Delavan-Darien High School students in World Geography classes learned about the rights and responsibilities of global citizens recently.
Students chose a global issue to research, such as poverty, climate change, or food and water security. They then developed ideas that could improve the global issue they researched.
Students participated in a gallery walk where those ideas were showcased around the room.
After the activity, the students’ research became a bit of artwork for passers by on Highway 11. The students taped their research notes to the classroom windows forming the letters DDHS, showing everyone that our students not only have pride in being a part of the DDHS community, but also have some creative ideas for solutions for some of the global community’s most challenging problems!
