DELAVAN — Delavan-Darien High School is hosting a seminar with college athlete recruiting expert Jack Renkens about “the realities of college athletic recruiting” and the requirements student-athletes need for sports scholarships.

The seminar, which promises to give the “true facts about college athletic recruiting,” is free and open to Delavan-Darien School District parents and students in grades 7-12.

Renkens’ program gives the answers parents and student-athletes often have in a straightforward, no nonsense, and entertaining 50-minute presentation.

This is a “can’t miss” event for student-athletes who have aspirations to play at the next level, Renkens says. Parents are encouraged to attend, also.

The seminar is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, at the DDHS auditorium, 150 Cummings St., Delavan.

Renkens, a former college coach, is a recruiting expert who has helped thousands of families throughout the country head down the right path of finding college scholarships. He works for Recruiting Realities, an organization that was founded to provide student-athletes and their families with educational resources about the collegiate athletic recruiting process.
