Good luck to our Destination Imagination teams, which will perform at their upcoming Regional Tournament on Saturday, March 21st, at Badger High School in Lake Geneva.
Delavan-Darien team managers say the competition will likely be tougher this year with both the South Central and Milwaukee Destination Imagination regions combining for a competition at one site.
Last year, four Delavan-Darien teams qualified for the state Destination Imagination meet. following state, one of the teams also qualified for the Global Finals.
Six Delavan-Darien teams will compete this year, including students from grades 2 through 10. The teams include:

The public is invited to attend the regional tournament in Lake Geneva.
“The best way to truly ‘get’ DI is to experience a tournament,” coach Renee Yartey said. “You will definitely experience some ‘out-of-the’ box thinking, which is the result of the creative and critical thinking methods used in DI. All solutions presented for the challenges are the result of the students alone.
“Come see what Destination Imagination is all about. More importantly, come see and support the amazing students we have here in Delavan-Darien. We will all appreciate your support!”
