All Delavan-Darien School District fourth and fifth graders got to preview some different options of what to do “when they grow up” at the recent Career Day events.
The students were surveyed on what careers they would like to learn about. Speakers working in a variety of different jobs, from cops to computers, and attorneys to engineers, were selected. The speakers were invited to give a short presentation of their careers which left time for a question and answer period for the students.
The days were great for students engaging with the real world of work and learning what it takes to achieve success in a career.
