DDHS_Course_Selection_Night

Reminder for Incoming Freshmen and Parents/Guardians:

DDHS Incoming Freshmen Course selection night is taking place Thursday evening (April 9) from 6-8 p.m. at DDHS.

The main goal of the evening is have students sign up for classes for the 2015-16 school year.

High school counselors have been in to the 8th grade classrooms already and hopefully, students have brought information home to discuss with parents.

We also hope you received a mailing prior to spring break informing you of the event.

We want to remind you that students and parents are asked to show up by 6 p.m. if possible for opening comments. After that, students will enter course selections into Career Cruising, and have the opportunity to attend a break out session, go on a tour with a Comet mentor, or speak to club/organization representatives. Staff from all departments will also be available to assist in this process.

Students are encouraged and reminded bring their Chromebook, their Career Cruising password, and the “goldenrod/yellow” course selection sheet on Thursday evening, though they are not mandatory to complete the process.

If parents would like to help their student(s) with the Career Cruising process, sign into their Career Cruising account. See these instructions to find out how.
