She received her BFA in Music Composition and Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Master of Fine Arts in Music Composition for the Screen at Columbia College. She has done music programming and performance for the former Director of the program at Columbia College, David McHugh, as well as other various jobs such as score preparation and sampling instruments for composer Andrew Edwards.
