Students attend Gov. Walker listening session

Four Delavan-Darien High School seniors attended a listening session with Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (also a DDHS Class of ’86 alumni) at the city of Delavan Municipal Building Tuesday, March 8.

In attendance were Isaac Carlton-Tahiri, Christina Bahaveolos, Christopher McKay and Anya Jeninga. Also attending from Delavan-Darien Schools were Superintendent Robert Crist and DDHS Associate Principal Amanda Urmanski.

Those in attendance were invited to talk about issues they in the community, the county and the state. Walker and his team listened to the citizen comments, which they will consider when formulating policies for state government going forward.
