Cunningham wins 2016 DEKALB Agricultural Accomplishment Award

Delavan-Darien High School senior Brody Cunningham has received the school’s highest agricultural honor, the DEKALB Agricultural Accomplishment Award, sponsored by Monsato Company.

Cunningham, the son of Dennis and Jennifer Cunningham, received the award of excellence in academics, leadership and agricultural work experience. Cunningham’s significant experiences and accomplishments have included swine and corn production and exhibition at the Walworth County Fair.

Martin Speth is Cunningham’s agricultural education instructor at DDHS.

This year the DEKALB Agricultural Accomplishment Award celebrates its 69th anniversary. Over these 69 years, more than 168,000 high school seniors from across the country have received the award, which has become a symbol for excellence and the school’s highest agricultural honor.

As winner of the 2016 award, Cunningham’s name will be recorded on a plaque, which will be displayed at Delavan-Darien High School.
