DELAVAN — March Madness may be over, but you can still watch some great basketball action in the Delavan-Darien High School main gym on Friday, April 22.

That’s when you can catch the 16th annual Faculty/Staff vs. Seniors/Alumni Charity basketball games. As always, proceeds for the event are donated to the Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer (the MACC Fund).

The women’s game starts at 6:00 p.m. and the men tip off at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are available for $3 at the door, or at the high school’s main office the week leading up to the event.

Comet boys basketball coach Bob Beighton, the event’s organizer, says the games are always a lot of fun to watch as the talents of the Delavan-Darien faculty/staff go up against some of the best varsity basketball players in DDHS history — current and former.

“Come on out and have some fun, watch some exciting basketball, and take part in supporting a worthwhile cause,” Beighton said.
