Delavan-Darien High School’s varsity softball team will make history once again today by (weather permitting) playing in its first-ever state tournament game.
The team was scheduled to play at 6 p.m. tonight vs. Northwestern/South Shore in a Division 2 state semifinal at Goodman Field in Madison (map).
UPDATE (2:05 p.m.): Due to a rain delay, the WIAA announced the new approximate game times will be approximately 7:45 p.m.

Tonight’s winner will play for the title against the winner of New London and New Berlin West. The championship game is schedule for 3 p.m. (NOT 5:30 p.m) Saturday, also in Madison.
